Registration Information

REGISTRATION

Our Centre registers boys and girls from age 5 to 17 years, including those with disabilities. Children born between January 2005 and December 2016 are eligible for Little Athletics this season at RWLAC.

We are trialling Tiny Tots at our centre this season for children born in 2017 who have an older sibling registered with our centre ONLY.

ON-LINE REGISTRATION

All registrations must be completed and paid for online. Registrations will open when more information about the end of COVID restrictions is available. At this current time, we are unsure when our season will commence. Until this can be confirmed, registrations will not be open.

REGISTRATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.  For extreme circumstances, if a refund is approved by Little Athletics NSW, a $20 administration fee will apply.  No refunds will be approved if you have already competed and/or you have changed your mind.

If you are moving from another centre to Revesby Workers’ LAC, you must contact LANSW before registering online by emailing: admin@lansw.com.au

Following online registration, you will need to pick up a registration pack. Dates for collection will be advertised, we are hoping to do this in early September pending COVID restrictions.

REGISTRATION NIGHT

Information about the 2021-2022 season registration night will be updated on this website closer to the end of August.  You need to complete the online registration and will then be able to collect your registration pack and purchase uniforms on a date to be advised.

If you are registering a child for the first time you MUST bring proof of their age with you when collect your registration pack, this may be in the form of a birth certificate, passport or baby blue book. Alternatively, a copy can also be uploaded when you register online. Children cannot compete until this has been sighted.

We ask that only one adult comes to collect the registration packs due to current public health orders and the need to physically distance.  If your child requires a uniform and needs to try on to get the correct size, you may bring them along for this purpose.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Registration payment must be made ONLINE when registering your child. No cash, cheque, direct deposit or EFTPOS payments are available for registration payments.

Fees contribute to the costs of replacement equipment, electricity charges, ground hire and maintenance, trophies, certificates, season calendar, newsletters, administration expenses,  insurance and registration with the NSW Little Athletics Association.

ACTIVE KIDS SPORTS VOUCHERS

The NSW Government is helping kids get active with the Active Kids program. The Active Kids program provides two $100 vouchers for parents, guardians and carers of school-enrolled children to use towards sport and active recreation costs each year.

Parents, guardians and carers can apply for the second $100 Active Kids voucher. To apply for your child’s voucher go to https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-active-kids-voucher 

This voucher can be used to help cover the registration payment for Little Athletics. During the online registration process, you will be asked to provide the details for each child you are registering, at this time there will be an option to apply a voucher code from the Active Kids voucher. It is important to only use the voucher that has been issued for that child when registering, the system will check your child’s date of birth you have entered when registering with the date of birth for the child to whom the voucher belongs.

REGISTRATION FEES

This season we will be reducing our registration fees due to the impact of COVID restrictions. All athletes will have a flat-rate fee of $100 per child, with tiny tots registrations fees being dropped to just $80.

The registration fee is a one-off payment for the season. There are no weekly costs or fees required.

UNIFORMS:

Uniforms are compulsory for all athletes (excluding Tiny Tots) on competition nights. They can be purchased in person on our registration nights. Payments for uniforms can be made by cash or EFTPOS. Uniforms consist of a top and shorts and cost $65.

Please note that approved Centre uniforms are compulsory at all NSW Little Athletics competitions, including all Centre competitions.

HOW TO GET TO THE ATHLETICS OVAL:

After entering the University from Bullecourt Avenue, continue straight ahead on the roadway until a yellow gate is reached. Turn right and park in the designated spaces. The athletics clubhouse is the small building facing west overlooking the oval. See map.

PARENT PARTICIPATION:

A parent must be in attendance while their child is competing and may be required to assist with the running of events. More information on parent participation will be given upon registration.

All parents are required to complete a ‘Member Protection Declaration’, formerly the Working With Children Check. This is part of the registration process.
